Introducing a new series. Things you were never taught in school about native Americans. I hope to impart some glimpse at false history and have some fun educating people as well. These will most likely be short and scattered randomly. I will do two today because I want to start the series off right. This will be all for today. Until next time!
Yet another highly nutritious food first invented and grown here in America by the native Americans. Peanuts were first grown more than 3500 years ago and remained a staple food for winter months. Packed with proteins, vitamins and oils needed by the body.
It took a man of color to fully appreciate the peanut. That fine mans name was George Washington Carver and he turned peanuts into peanut butter. Thank you Mr. Carver!
